Katrina Basso uses her conventional training in the Speech and Language Sciences, Oral-Systemic Health and Orofacial Myology as a bridge between original and conventional health frameworks, providing her patients with a unique blend of Eastern and Western insights for health prevention and healing.
As one of the top Orofacial Myologists in Canada, and a leading voice in the field of preventative health, Katrina understands the deep and interconnected threads within the oral-systemic paradigm, and believes that functional and restorative oral health practices are the bridge, both now and in the future, to complete physical, emotional and spiritual health, individually and collectively.
Katrina uses her skills and training across multiple modalities including the Life Sciences, Physiological Birth, Breastfeeding & Human Lactation, Herbal and Functional Nutrition, Medical Medium Health Scripture, Craniosacral Therapy, Yoga, Bodywork and Massage to compliment her practice and help bring alignment to the body, mind and soul.
Katrina is a founding member of the Association of Orofacial Myologists of Canada (AOMC) and currently serves as the President-Elect.
